Our future hunter. The past few days he's been hunting deer, elk, grizzly bears and polar bears. Who knew we had so many animals in the house. :)

He may have been born in Utah but he's a Buffalonian at heart. Preview of the great things to come next week.

Bedtime Story

Keaton gets a new library book on each school day. We usually read it before naps and bed. Tonight we climbed into his bed and I started to read the book. I opened it up and began to read, "The little old lady" Keaton interrupted me and said, "what about the time?" I looked at him and said it's story time and continued to read. Again he looked at me and said, "what about the time Mama?" I said, "yup it's story time" and kept reading. He said, "no, I'll show you. You forgot to read about the time." He turned back one page. I had skipped the first page of the book. The book began... "Once upon a time." I burst out laughing and he looked at me and said, "you're so silly, you can't forget the time, it's my favorite part."

Fishing Fun

Here's a picture of Keaton "fishing" in Papa Ed and Mona's backyard. I didn't think he would have much luck considering this is a river made of stone but he assured me that he caught a fish and he was going to cook it for lunch.

First Word

Beckett has said a few words here and there. Mostly just making a noise similar to a what we are saying and not really meaning it. Well yesterday he said what I would classify as his first word. Darren was in the bathroom and he started banging on the door calling DaDa! It was very sweet.
